Homerun Derby
Homerun Derby is a fantasy basbeall contest in which players pick MLB players from a homerun list. Each MLB player has a value equal to there homerun total from the year prior. Each fantasy team is capped to a maximum of 183 homeruns or less.
Object of the Game/Rules
1. The object of the game is to create a team of 7 current MLB players andstay under the cap.
2. Top 10% of team with the most Home Runs at the end of the regular season win cash and prizes!
2. The player list is broken down from the final 2010 Home Run totals and are listed after each players name and their current team. From the dropdown select player that you want on your roster. Checkout the Player List here
3. Select 7 players, their Total homeruns can not exceed 183 from last year!
4. You must select 7 different players, our system will not allow duplicates.
5. THERE ARE NO TRADES OR SUBSTITUTIONS. Once you select a player for your roster they are yours for the entire 2009 season. There are no exceptions regardless of injury or performance.
6. There are no tie breakers. If two people tie for any spot, they split that spot and the next. For example, if two people tie for 1st they would split 1st and 2nd place money.
7. OHD guarantees a starting prize pool of $1000 for the $10.99 entry fee HR Derby, and $250 for its Free HR Derby. Prize will be awarded to the top 10% and the exact amount will be posted within 1 week of the start of the season on the respective League pages.
Homerun Pool
Homerun Pool is another great contest in which players pick MLB players from pools. There are 4 pools A,B,C & D. Player select 1 player from Pool A, 1 from Pool B, 2 from Pool C and 3 from Pool D.
